Small dots, great naturalness

We are often asked:
„Why does my new pillow, topper or mattress have small black dots in the fabric?“
Don’t worry – this is not a defect, but a sign of genuine naturalness!
Our cotton is grown, finished and processed without chemicals.
This means that small remnants of the cotton pods (the fruit of the cotton plant) may sometimes remain in the fabric.
These tiny dots are therefore part of nature – not a defect.

As we manufacture all our products ourselves here in our factory – from washing, steaming, spinning and sewing to the finished end product – and subject them to strict controls, we can guarantee:

– No production errors

– No storage or transport damage

– 100% natural and handcrafted

Each dot tells a story about the origin of our cotton – and represents our decision to avoid chemicals and artificial brighteners.
Every weaving error is analysed in detail and, if necessary, the affected piece is removed from withdrawn with circulation, meaning it is not packaged or shipped.

This ensures that every Moosburger horsehair product is truly unique – sustainable, ecological and handmade.
